First time, in India any device got a device (mobile) having Tegra 3 chipset. This brilliant device comes with ultimate features that we will be discussing soon. 4.7 inches of big screen will make many people to buy and this device is the competitior of Micromax A210 Canvas 4. Don't know from where XOLO started but now it is one of the best Indian devices maker. Okay, now let's roll and see the specifications and features of this superb device.

Specification of XOLO Play T1000

Lava/Intel XOLO Play T1000 is having a super large screen of 4.7 inches, in which you can enjoy your unlimited movies and pictures. Indians haven't booted a device having Tegra speed so they cannot even think how much fast it would be. You get latest Android version 4.1.1 but it would be better if this beast had 4.2 Android OS. This device is clocked at super fast 1.5 Ghz Quad-Core processor with 5th one having battery saver (feature of nVidia 3) so you can imagine the speed now. The cache system is also good, you can get (32KB / 32KB) per core. The RAM does not match the specification of processor. The processor is of 1.5 GHz and the RAM is 1 GB, it's not less but it does not meet the specifications. The internal memory of this device is 4GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via SD card. You get 512 Mhz 12 cores NVIDIA ULP GeForce in GPU which is 3x faster than Tegra 2 in 3D. You get 3D stereo too. The OpenVG version is 1.1. The version of OpenGL ES is 2.0 and EGL's version is 1.4. XOLO T1000 features you dazzling 8 MegaPixels BSI (back side illumination) of camera and 2 MegaPixels of front camera. You can capture videos at 1080p HD. According to nVidia, you can zoom up to 16x but I think this device will have 4x zoom. You get some other features in camera like Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, Auto Focus, Lens Shading 9th Order, De-Mosaic, Sharpening, Programmable De-Noise. For video recording, you get Video stabilization and that you get for images too (Optical image stabilization). Some encoding available for audio are AAC, LCAAC+, eAAC+, PCM/WAV, AMR-NB, AMR-WB and in decoding you can get AAC-LC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, MP3 VBR, WAV/PCM, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, BSAC, MPEG-2 Audio, Vorbis, WMA 9, WMA Lossless, WMA Pro, G.729a *, G.711 *, QCELP *, EVRC * (note: you can SOME of them by 3rd party applications on Play Store.) You do not get bluetooth, wi-fi, 3G, 2G, GPS in this device. But you do not get DUAL-SIM in this device so obviously, most of people won't buy this. You get many sensors in this device like Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor Every device has something poor!
