Lava XOLO A700 is a brilliant device. It is very fast, stable device and users are giving very nice responses of this Lava XOLO A700. Lava XOLO A700 comes with Yes, 1GHz Dual-core MediaTek MT6577 Processor which makes your Gaming, multitasking experience awesome. MediaTek is awesome chipset which makes device faster than other chipset. There, the camera has got multiple many features which are not in common devices Rear camera: 5.0 MP Camera (2592x1944 Pixels) with HDR, Auto Focus and LED Flash, Front : 0.3 MP, VGA Camera (640x480 Pixels), Self Timer, Touch Focus, High Dynamic Range. The Screen size and display is very nice: 4.5 inches, IPS LCD Capacitive Touchscreen, 16M Colors and the video playback is very impressive, i.e. 720p@30fps. The operating system i.e. Android, obviously huh is Ice Cream Sandwitch (4.0) which can be further upgraded to JellyBean (4.1). The GPS is but obvious in most android so this is also supporting GPS, with A-GPS support with Google Maps. Yep, it supports 3G with HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps speed. Today DEV-XDA Will teach you that how to Deodex your stock rom easyest way evey you seen.

What is ODEX and DEODEX?
A. In Android file system, applications come in packages with the extension .apk. These application packages, or APKs contain certain .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These odex files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applicationsdifficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.
THEN COMES DEODEX
Deodexing is basically repackaging of these APKs in a certain way, such that they are reassembled into classes.dex files. By doing that, all pieces of an application package are put together back in one place, thus eliminating theworry of a modified APK conflicting with some separate odexed parts.
In summary, Deodexed ROMs (or APKs) have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming. Since no pieces of code are coming from any external location, custom ROMs or APKs are always deodexed to ensure integrity. So:
Odex = +speed -customization
Deodex = -speed +customization

Chage IMEI of MTK smartphone

FOLLOW THIS  :D

For changing the IMEI no you need this following things

11-      Rooted MTK 6577/6575 Smartphone

22-      Mobile Uncle Tools from Google play store. Mobileuncle MTK Tools

33-      An valid IMEI no,

                                         Its really difficult to get for individual, so take copy IMEI no of your old unused mobile phone, and be sure we will never switch on the phone ever again.  If you switch it on, the both sim will not register to the network.

Its all done….

1-      Go to Engineer mode in mobile Uncle tool

2-      Select Engineer mode[MTK]

3-      Go to CDS information

4-      Select Radio Information

Here you can see Phone1 and Phone2, in that select phone2, because most of the Chinese clone phone the 1^st Sim which is a 3G will work perfectly. Only the problem happens when we insert the second sim. If you check you can see the IMEI of 1^st sim will start with 35xxxxx and the 2^nd will start with 88xxxxxxxx. That is why the second sim is not able to register to the network, because its not in international formatted IMEI. So usually we need to change the IMEI of phone 2.

5-      Select the phone 2

Here you can see a command line with “AT+”. Now just add this command to it

                AT+EGMR=1,10,”15 digit YOUR NEW IMEI NO”

And press “send at command” button. [ if you want to change the the phone 1 IMEI AT+EGMR=1,7,”NEW IMEI NO”]

Yes we all done… now you can restart the phone and check the IMEI by pressing *#06#

Samsung Galaxy S4 Like StatusBar for Mircomax A87

Hey friends, Micromax A87 is getting great development. It got CyanogenMod 7, Timescape and many other mods. It was getting few ROMs ago like Devil.Xperia, Project Dark and other ROMs but now, only CM and great MODs. While I was surfing Facebook, I saw a post that Micromax A87 Got Samsung Galaxy S4-like Notification bar/status bar. It is superb! really awesome. It has Music-Player in Notification bar (you can play/pause and stop playing music). It has two views, one is of some settings like Contacts, Display, Settings, Music Player, Internet Speed and one brightness slider, all of them are in Quick Panel. And other toggle is of simple statusbar where you will see Wi-Fi toggle and other toggles. These can be toggled by tapping on icon to change the toggles. It looks like we are using Samsung Galaxy S4.

2 ClockWorkMod recovery installed in Micromax A87

How To Install Galaxy S4 statusbar in Micromax A87-

1 Download and place the statusbar zip in Micromax A87. Make sure you don't extract it, just let it be .zip.
2 Reboot to ClockWorkMod Recovery, to do this, type "su" (enter), "reboot recovery" (enter). Soon you will be inClockWorkMod Recovery.
3 Go to Backup and Restore and make a nandroid backup. We need to do this for safety. If you are experienced user in flashing ROMs and MODs then its not necessary to do this because it will work for sure.
4 Okay, press back and select Install Zip from SD card.
5 Now, you will see your SD card contents. Now, select the zip there which you just copied to your SD card, the name of this zip is "S4 Style Status Bar By Viraj Trivedi.zip".
6 Now, press REBOOT SYSTEM. Wait for a while, it will boot but it will take some time to boot. Don't hesitate because I have flashed it and not only me, many flashed it and said that it's amazing.
